2.

This is the fun part!

We'll blast your favorite tunes, hit the prettiest locations on campus, and bring out your best poses.

No worries if you don't have experience in front of the camera (most of these grads didn't, and I think they look great). I can be as hands on as you need.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best time of day for photos?

It depends on the location. The arch on the corner of University and 13th and most of the stadium look much better near sunset. Early morning is ok, but after 8:30am, the sun gets harsh, especially in the summer. Century tower and Bull Gator look much better in the early morning. Plaza, Murphree arch, and other shaded areas look great any time of day. In the month right before graduation, most locations will be packed most times of the day. We will likely have to wait.

What are the best locations?

The common locations are Plaza, University arch, Murphree arch, Gatorwalk, and the stadium. Don't be afraid to suggest something new! We can do Baughman Center, Architecture building, Norman Tunnel, or even the better library on campus.

What should I wear?

For ladies, a white dress and heels contrast wonderfully against the stole. Lighter colors are popular, but any color can work. In a group context, you can wear white and have everyone else wear shades of another color or vice versa. If you plan on wearing heels, bring a pair of sandals for location changes.

For gentlemen, dress shoes, pants, and shirts in neutral colors are popular. A blazer is a nice touch, although it can get hot.

Who did your grad shoot?

My dad and my girlfriend took them for me! If I wasn't so lucky to have camera- savvy people near and dear to me, I would've booked with Solstice Media, Sabrina Irene, or Waters Photography. Their portfolios are incredible!

What gear do you use?

I actually never get this question, but I'm a nerd, so here you go:

I use a Canon r6 mark ii with a sigma 28-70mm f/2 lens. For editing, I use Lightroom and Photoshop.

I started on a Sony a850 (that's right, a mirrored Sony) with a Sigma EX DG 24-70mm f/2.8 (this was before Sigma had the Art series of lenses) and I edited on Affinity photo.

I've also used a Canon 6D with a 17-40mm f/4 (odd choice, I know) and a Fuji X-H1 with the 18-55mm f/2.8-4.0 kit lens and the original 35mm f/1.4 for portraits (this is the set-up I miss the most).
